The ex-Kaiserin, who has been living in exile since the fall of the Hohenzollerne, was born on October 22, 1858, thus being in her 63rd year. As the Princess Augusta Victoria of SchleswigHolstein she was married to the exKaiser on February 27, 1881 a Ever since the fall of the German Empire the exKaiserin has been in failing health, and on several occasions recently her condition has been reported as grave.
