NEW ZEALAND LAMB.

LOWER PRICES EXPECTED. By Telegraph.— Press Assn —Copyright. London. April, 4. Mr. Arthur Kidman, interviewed, said that buyers were mostly disinclined to purchase New Zealand lamb on a forward basis. The general impression was that prices would be considerably lower within three or four months. Already almost half a million carcases have arrived re-shipped from the United States, and a further 275,000 were arriving within a month. These were indelibly stamped “prime parts” by the United States authorities, rendering them difficult to retail here.
