The first annua! meeting of the Burns, Philp South Sea Company, Ltd., was held at the head office at Suva to-day. The report and balance-sheet, which were adopted, showed a nett profit of £102,845. A dividend of ten per cent, on the paid-up capital of £750.000 was declared, and £20,000 was carried to reserve The report showed that the company was strongly established throughout the Pacific.—Aus. and N.Z.
