“AT HOME” ATTRACTIONS. Some interesting and novel attractions for the Central School “At Home - ’ on April 21, are being arranged, and amongst those already assured are the appearance of some Hungarian 'dwarfs, a lightning sketch artist, and a continuous picture show. In connection with the latter undertaking, pictures will be taken on busy days in Devon Street, and arrangements have been macle for showing these in a specially adopted miniature theatre at the school. The committee d&aire to point out that should prominent business people and residents find themselves suddenly confronted with a camera, they will know that the picture is required for showing at the “At Home.” It is expected this will prove an attractive part of the programme at the function, as the prospect of prominent residents being shown in unexpected places should be highly entertaining. It is also hoped to have a few local cartoons or caricatures. Special advertisements In this connection will be limited to p; few of very particular interest.
