TIMARU RAM FAIR. By Telegraph-—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. At the ram fair to-day there were upwards of 1000 entries. The demand for all descriptions was extremely weak, and the great bulk of Xhe offering® was passed in. Where sales were made prices were extremely low. They were the poorest sales for many years.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of March 30: .Tallow— We quote present spot values for the following description®: Fine mutton, £1 19s 6d per cwt.; good beef, £1 15s 6d; mixed, £1 8s 6d. Small demand Cheese.—Colored, market unchanged; white, quiet at £7 3s.
