WARRIORS’ DAY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn,— Copyright. Received April 1, 5.5 p.m. London, March 31. Warriors’ Day was a big success. All theatres were crowded. It is- expected that Lord Haig’s fund will benefit to the extent of £200,000. Over a thousand amateur dramatic performances were given, and two thousand cinema performance® will be given on Sunday. Their Majesties attended a performance at the Windsor Theatre. The Prince of Wales had a great reception at the London Hippodrome, and other members of the Royal Family else-where.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. JAPANESE IN SIBERIA. Received April 1, 7.30 p.m. Washington, March 31. It is understood the latest Japanese operations in Siberia have caused Mr. C. E. Hughes (Secretary of State) to start investigations into the entire questipn of the Japanese continued occupation of Siberia and Northern Sakhalin. It is learned the State Department is considering sending a Note to Tokio suggesting the withdrawal of Japanese troops.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
