LEVEL-CROSSING ACCIDENT.

FATHER AND TWO SONS KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, March 26. There was a level crossing accident at Napier last night resulting in the death of Leslie Pointon aged four years, and Albert Pointon, seven years. It appears itnat a butcher’s cant with Ebenezer Poin'ton, his two sons and three others boys, were returning to town and failed to notice the usual evening train from Hastings. Three of the boys, who noticed the train jumped clear and were only slightly injured. The cart was carried 50 yards. Leslie Pointon was found under the cow-catcher badly mutilated, and died when released. His father is suffering from concussion of the brain. Albert Pointon had a fractured skull and was removed to the hospital where he died this morning. The father’s condition is grave. Napier, March 26. The third death, that of the father, E. Hinkfn, occurred at noon, as a result of tlie railway accident last night.
