TARANAKI TOURNAMENT. ENTRIES CLOSE TO-MORROW. Entries for the Taranaki golf tournament, commencing on the New Plymouth Club’s links on Saturday, close to-morrow with the secretary (P.O. Box 141, New Plymouth). Indications of good support from followers of the game, both In the province and outside districts, have already been received. The links have been freshened up by recent rains, but the turf is somewhat soft, and players should exercise care in moving over the greens.
