HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

REPLIES TO QUESTIONS The House of Representatives met at 2.30 p.m. Replying to Mr. R. A. Wright (Wellington Suburbs), the Hon. C. 3, Parr said there was no intention to introduce this session legislation giving relief to unregistered dentists. Replying to Mr. E. J. Howard (Christchurch South), the Hon. E. P. Lee said he would have a report made on the explosive capacity of matches now being sold in New Zealand. Replying to Mr. W. T. Jennings (Waitomo), the Hon. W. Nosworthy said that next session he proposed to introduce a Pure Seeds Bill. Replying to Mr. J. R. Hamilton (Awarua), Mr. Massey said Welsh coal was being purchased for £4 7s 6d per ton, which, all things considered, compared favorably with the price paid 'for coal from New South Wales and other outside sources. Replying to Mr. J. R. Hamilton (Awarua), the Hon. G. J. Anderson said the question of enabling men who had not previously worked irj mines to qualify as miners opened up a big question, and before giving a final reply he would like time to consider what steps should be taken. EVENING SESSION. The evening sitting was occupied by the debate on the Address-in-Reply, which was concluded. The House rose at 11 p.m. until 10.30 a.m. to-morrow. .
