THE PATEA SEAT.
colonel McDonald supports REFORM PARTY. Colonel McDonald, candidate for the Patea seat, arrived in Hawera last night by the mail train. He'announces that it is his intention to stand as a supporter of the Reform Party. Among other names being mentioned as possible candidates for the Patea seat is that of Mr. Clutha Mackenzie, who contested one of the Auckland seats at the general election.
