DAIRY PRODUCE.
EXPORTS FROM TARANAKI. SEASON’S PRODUCTION TO Produce in store at the Taranaki producers’ works at Moturoa at March 14 was as follows:—Butter, 28.800 boxes; cheese, 53,G00 crates. A number of consignments have been arranged for within the next month. The Corinna, now in port, is to load 28,000 boxes of butter for transhipment to the Zealandic at Wellington, and this will nearly clear the stores of butter for the present. The Flora, which is due* at New Plymouth to-day, lifts 12,000 crates of cheese, which is also for shipment Home by the Zealandic, Another let of 12,000 crates of cheese i& to be shipped before the end of the month, to be loaded on the Rimutaka at Wellington. By direct shipment on the Port Hacking, which is due to load at New Plymouth early in April, the company will consign 20,000 boxes of butter and 5000 crates of cheese. The aggregate value of the above exports may be put down at approximately £568,000. The quantities of produce which have been received at the stores this season are as follows: Butter 115,203 boxes (1919, 65,456 boxes); cheese 104,395 crates (1919, 117,456 crates).
