NO DIPLOMATIC NEGOTIATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Tokio, March 10. Baron Uchida, addressing the House of Peers, expressed the belief that Japan’s position relative to the United States and Yap was secure. He stated that Japan had made no effort to open diplomatic negotiations with the Moscow Government. Although the Chita Government and Siberia were of special interest to Japan, because of their proximity, formal recognition had not been extended to them by Tokio-;’—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
