COMPENSATION FOR INJURIES. By Tolagraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Feb. 23. In the Supreme Court, David Guest, a farmer, was awarded £742 damages against Hugh Currie for injuries and loss sustained by defendant's motor car last March, which dashed into a scat on the waterfront which was occupied by plaintiff and his wife. METHODIST CONFERENCE.
Wellington. Last Night. The annual Methodist Conference opened to-night, the function taking the form of a young people’s demonstration. The sessions proper open to-morrow night with an inaugural address by the president, Rev. W. Grigg.
