AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 13, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 18. The Australian swimming championships resulted : 1320 Yards.—Beaurepaire 1, Langer 2, Christie 8. The race resolved itself into a contest between Beaurepaire and Langer, who raced neck and neck to 1200 yards. The Victorian then drew away and won by eighteen yards. Time, 17min. 43 4-ssec. 100 Yards Backstroke.—Kealoha 1. Beck (N.S.W.) 2, Collins (Queensland) 3. The Hawaiian won easily by two yards. Time, Imin. 14 4-ssec. Stedman (Victoria) won the 75 yards open handicap in 39 2-ssec.—an Australian record. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
