BOYCOTT OF MASONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Sydney, Feb. 10. The Australian Workers’ Union Convention resolved that no member of a Masonic institution be eligible to hold an official position in the union. COAL SHORTAGE AFFECTS RACING. Melbourne, Feb. 10. Cabinet decided that owing to the coal shortage resulting from the shipping trouble, the ban on racing shall not be lifted. The Victorian Amateur Turf Club meeting, fiked for next Saturday, has therefore been indefinitely postponed. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. A BUSINESS AMALGAMATION. Sydney, Feb. 10. The Australian Mercantile Land and Finance Company has acquired the business of Hill and Clark, Limited.
