At Urenui on Thursday, the local team defeated Inglewood by 4 wickets. Inglewood batting first, scored 144, Urenui replying with 158 : for the loss of six wickets. Vigorous batting was a feature of the day, there being numerous hits for six. Inglewood dropped a number ofr catches, otherwise the result might have been different.
