WAITARA.
WAITABA HARBOR BOARD. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The Waitara Harbor Board met on Friday last. Present: Messrs. Jas. Hine (chairman), Spurdie, McKenzie, Ogle and Nosworthy. The secretary reported that repairs to the north wall had been completed at a cost of £77 10s, 1.16 yards of stone being used. The dredge had been overhauled and painted. The a trial balancesheet for the past year, which showed that the receipts exceeded the expenditure by £l3OO. GENERAL. The Clifton Football Chib have issued the programme of their sporte, which tltey are holding on the camp reserve on March 3. The prizes appear to be very substantial, and their first sports should be a decided success. Mr. S. Wyllie, who was picked to play in one of the bowling rink£ for the Taranaki tournament next week, has written from Auckland saying that he regretted that his health would not allow him to participate. Mr. W. Telfar has been picked to play in his stead.
