WEDDING.

HARRIES—HUTTON. The marriage took place at Whiteley Church, New Plymouth, on Tuesday afternon of Miss Hannah Hutton, only daughter of inspector and Mrs. Hutton, of New Plymouth, and Mr. C. Arthur Harries, of Gisborne. The Rev. J. Napier Milne was the officiating clergyman, and Mrs. Cooper presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white crepe-de-chine arid georgette z with a beautifully embroidered veil and orange blossoms/ and she carried a shower bouquet of white roses. Miss Ross attended as chief bridesmaid and wore a dress of pink silk Proline, with handsome floral beltj and a hat of pink: tulle. The three flower girls were the Misses Mavis Harries (sister of the bridegroom), Jean and Thelma Hutton (nieces of the bride), and they were prettily dressed in white and carried bouquets of pink and blue sweet peas and hydrangeas. The mother of the hride wore a mole-colored crepe-de-chine dress, with black hat arid osprey and earned pink dahlias. Ihe mother of tlrebridegroom was dressed in browA crepe-de-chine, with touches of blue and gold, and carried a handsome bouquet of golden and yellow flowers. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. L. Harries, as beet man. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the, Hygienic tea-rooms, where the customary toasts were drunk. Many telegrams of congratulation and aood wishes were received by the happy couple, who left later by motor for their honeymoon trip and their future home in Gisborne. The bride’s travelling dress was a fawn colored costume and closefitting green hat.
