General Caviglia, who commands the Italian forces around Fiumc, has sent D'Annunzio an ultimatum expiring on December 22, demanding the disbandment of D'Annunzio's forces in Fiumo and the evacuation of the islands of Arbe and Veglia, which belong to Jugoslavia and the surrender of Italian war material in Fiume.—Aus.-N.Z.
