ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DEATH FROM PTOMAINE POISONING. By Telegraph.—l>ress Association. Christehnrch, Last Night. Henry Sales, of Lyttelton, aj?ed 32, died at Christchureh hospital from ptomaine poisoning. Deceased, who was ft returned soldier, had been engaged as a letter carrier at the Lyttelton Post Office for some time. It is believed the poisoning was contracted through eating pickled pork, as one of Sales' children, who ate a piece of the meat, is now in the Christchureh hospital.
