AN ALL-BRITISH PRODUCTION.
To-night's new bill at the People's is headed by the splendid Hanna-All-JSritii-ih production, "The Great Impostor," a British story of a British sailor-man who, through love of a girl above him, was tempted to pose as an earl's son. A romance of three modem musketeers. Truly British in netting, featuring Bernard Dudley and Marie Blanche.' All about a sailor who posed as an earl's son and won a fortune and a lovely g'.rl. He was found out, and the girl -well, was she Btrong enough to forgive? Mitche;! Lews is featured in the teeming mystery drama, "Calibre 35," said to be the most gripping mystery screen play for a decade.
EVERYBODY'S. LAST NIGHT OF "UNDER CRIMSON SKIES." "Under Crimson Skies," the newest Universal-Jewel feature, was presented to a local audience for the first time at Everybody's last night, and succeeded in upholding the high reputation which preceded it. "Under Crimson Skies" is an original story by J. G. Hawks, but it breathes the same atmosphere of romantic adventure found in the stories of Jack London, Robert Louis Stevenson and Rex- Beach. There is a certain romance in tales of the high that appeals to everyone, whether he lives on the coast or dwells in the interior, and the author has touched upon every phase of marine adventure from gun-running to battling a violent storm. The final screening of this stirring adventure story takes place to-night.
