TORPEDOERS DESERT TO . D'ANNUNZIO. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Dec. 9, 3.30 p.m. Rome, Dec. 8. Two Italian torpedo boats deserted to D'Annunzio, according to a guarded comtmunique, which say 3 that two torpedo boats of the upper Adriatic squadron anchored in the port of Fiume in an irregular manner. The commanding officers were apparently taken by surprise and unable to assert themselves.—Reuter Service.
