The Australian Press representative at Geneva states that Argentina proposes to ask for admission to'the League of countries whose sovereignty has not been recognised, on condition that they do not vote in the Assembly. There will probably be some delay before Montenegro is admitted, owing to the fact that King Nicholas was deposed in 1918, and that Montenegro threw in her lot with the Jugo-Slavs, coupled with the fact that political conditions there make it uncertain whether the majority are in favor of tTe old regime. The procedure commission has made great progress. The Council on Monday considers a general report on man-dates.—Aua.-NZ. Cable Assn.
