Mr. Gempen (President of tie Ameriean Federation of Labor), analysing the result of the Congresaional elections, declared that organised Labor had won k. -victory, since fifty candidates hostile to Labor bad been defeated and fifteen labor J»i<"nl Sternberg were elected. Mr. Gompeff added that the election generally, however, wa« a victory for the reactionary elements, who now plan an aisaalt on unionised Labor for the pur«W of depriving it of its bard-earned Jains —Aus.-N.Z- Cable Assn.
