NOMINATION OF MR. P. E. WILSQN; As the result of * request from »" deputation which waited on !hian yestf|M day morning, Mr. P, E. Wilson has cop sented to nomination for the contaft in the New Plymouth Mayoralty byelection. The deputation stressed it|i importance of a, candidate for the position at this stage having had prerioui experience, reference being made to Mr Wilson's past association with t&i Council. In replying, Mr. Wilson said it elected he would do his best in the interests of tho borough. An ex-councillor, Mr. J. Kibby, pf Fitzroy, has consented to nomination •» a candidate for the vacancy on 'the Council, caused by Mr, Collie' resignation .
