SEMENOFF HEMMED IN. By Meeraph.—Prt» Copyright. Tokio, Nov. 21. It is reported that Semenoff, who is being hemmed in by Mongols and Bolsheviks near Manchulia, on the Manchurian border, is facing a critical situation. The Japanese High Command is charged with having broken faith with Semenoff and of pursuing a policy of stirring up Siberia and preventing the creation of a buffer State between Soviet Russia and the Far Eastern re-public.—Aus.-N.Z.
