Rutherford and Withey arc reported to be in the pink of condition. The club have been fortunate In securing tl.-e cervices of .Mr. Tim Tracer as referee. A good night's entertainment can be looked forward to, An excellent programme of amateur bouts will also be Aaged, and will Include some of the leading lights o{ Ihe Norm Island. Withey, (ho 'New Zealand representative, arrived w'.lli his trainer on Saturday night, and Rutherford arrives by to-night's 'express. I'ho amateur programme is complete. The Stratford boys aro In great form. t'anute, who meets Davis, is sure ro put up a great light, as also should Whitlaker, of Falraerston North, who meets the Wanganui man, Scott, both these men are considered tho best amateurs in New Zealand.
