COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICES. ADVERTISEMENT OF SPECIAL ORDER. COUNTY OF CLIFTON is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Clifton County Council, held at the County Office at Waitara on FRIDAY, the Bth. day of October, 1920, a Resolution waa passed as follows: "That Jt:in-pursuance and in exercise ofcthfe powerß conferred upon it and of every other power it in this behalf enabling the Council of the County of Clifton doth hereby by Special Order make and ordain the By-law following, that is to say—"The By-laws made by the Council on the oth day of December, 1910, and which are at present in force shall be and the same are hereby repealed as from the! twentieth day of December, 1920, but no such repeal shall affect any offences committed, notices given, prosecution commenced or license, permit, grant, permission or consent issued, made or given under such By-laws when repealed or the validity, invalidity, effect or consequence of anything done, omitted, or suffered under any such By-laws before the repeal or affect the proof of any act, omission, or thing that shall have occurred or arising under any such repealed By-laws or prevent any such repealed By-laws from being put in force for the recovery of any duties, taxes, fees, fines, penalties, or forfeitures incurred in such repealed Bylaws." A copy of the said By-law is deposited at the Offiee of the County Council, and is open for inspection of the public durng office hours until the 19th day of NovAND NOTICE is hereby also given that the said Resolution will be submitted to a Special Meeting of the Council to be held at the County Office, Waitara, on the ll)th day of November, 1920, for confirmation as a Special Order. VOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Egmont County Council, held at the County Office at Opunake on TUESDAY, the 12th day of OCTOBER, 1920, a Resolution was passed as follows: "That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred, upon it and of every othar power it in this behalf enabling the Council of the County of Egmont doth hereby by Special Order make and ordain the By-law following, that is to say—"The By-laws made by the Council on the 24th day of June, 1904, and which are at present in force shall be and the same are hereby repealed as from the twentieth day of December, 1920, but no such repeal shall affect any offences committed, notices given, prosecution commenced or license, permit, grant, permission or consent issued, made or given under such By-laws when repealed or the validity, invalidity, effect or consequence of anything done, omitted, or suffered under any such By-laws before the repeal or affect the proof of any act, omission, or thing that shall have occurred or arising under any such repealed By-laws or prevent any such repealed By-laws from being put in force for the recovery of rny duties, taxes, fees, fines, penalties, or forfeitures incurred in such repealed Bylaws."
