HYDRO-ELECTRIC SCHEME.
FURTHER LOAN 1 NECESSARY. In order to cover the increase in the estimated cost, of hydro-electric works, the New Plymouth Bojongh Council has decided to take the necessary steps to raise a further loan of £60,000. The proposed rate of interest is flj per cent per annum, with U per cent additional sinking fund, the security to be an annual rate of one penny in the £ till the date of repayment,
