A telegram despatched on behalf o4 theNew Plymouth grocers to the Sugar Company asking for a consignment, drew a reply to the effect that an endeavor will be made to ship a quantity by the Rarawa, arriving here on Tuesday next. The last shipment, arrived in New Plymouth on the Ist inst. The New Plymouth distributors Tecelved a telegram yesterday that further supplies cannot be shipped until next Monday at the earliest, and there is a doubt if sugar will be available even -then. Dealers are therefore recommended by the distributors to limit supplies to the minimum.
