NO SUGAR.
STOCKS AGAIN 1 EXHAUSTED. NONE TILL NEXT WEEk. "The town is practically bore of sugar supplies," said a New Plymouth retailer to a Daily News representative yesterday, ''and there are no prospect! of supplies being received for some days yet." A telegram despatched on behalf o4 theNew Plymouth grocers to the Sugar Company asking for a consignment, drew a reply to the effect that an endeavor will be made to ship a quantity by the Rarawa, arriving here on Tuesday next. The last shipment, arrived in New Plymouth on the Ist inst. The New Plymouth distributors Tecelved a telegram yesterday that further supplies cannot be shipped until next Monday at the earliest, and there is a doubt if sugar will be available even -then. Dealers are therefore recommended by the distributors to limit supplies to the minimum.
