LABOR PARTY.
MEETING OF NEW PLYMOUTH BKAXCH. The usual meeting of the New Plymouth branch of the Labor Party was held last evening, Mr. P. .1. Clarke' (vicepresident) occupying the chair. In reply to a communication from the Hawera branch inviting the. attendance of delegates at their animal meeting on Thursday, to discuss the formation of a provincial Council, it was decided to K.-k the Hawera committee to arrange a rcparatc meeting for this business. Oratilicalioii was expressed by members at the formation of a brand, ot the party at Inglewood, .and a vote of (hanks was accorded the delegates, YV. 11. Fitzherbert, ,). Clark, Ceo. Scott, and L. Sim, and D. \V. Raill for work done in connection. The;statement of accounts in connection with the recent dance, showed a credit iVf C 7 18s, and a vote of thanks was passed to (lie social committee and the ladies' committee.
