Christehurch, Last Night. , In the ladies' golf championship of New Zealand, the third round results are:— Miss Richards (Cl'risteliureh) beat Miss Hewat (North Otago), 5 up and 4. Miss Gambrill (Mlramar) beat Miss McClure (Wellington), l up. Mrs. Guy Williams (Masterton) beat Miss Dixon (Christehurch), 4 up and 3. Miss Wright (Timaru) beat Mrs. McCarthy (St. Clair), 1 up. Mrs. Godly (Christehurch) beat Miss Turton (Mlramar), 5 up and 3. Miss Gifford Moore (Palmerston) beat Miss Bell (Wellington), 1 up. Mrs. Orbell (North Otago) beat Miss Payton (Auckland),-3 up and 1. Miss Withers (Mlramar) beat Mrs. Martin (Palmerston), 1 up. The cup presented by Miss K. Rattray for the two best aggregate handicap bogey sores during the week, was won by Miss E. Culling (Auckland), all square. The ties In the first bogey I:and can were playecj off, and resulted:—Handicaps 0 to 11: Miss Gambrill (Miramar) beat Miss GilTord Moore (Palmerston North) ; handicaps, 12 to 15: Miss Glendining (Otago) beat Miss Newton (Christehurch). The second bogey handicap resulted: Handicaps, 0 to 11: Mrs. L. Martin (Palmerston North), (handicap 2), all square; handicaps, 12 to 15: Miss E. Culling (Auckland), (hep. 12), 5 up, To-morrow, the match most looked forward to Is that between Mrs. Guy Williams (Australian champion), and Miss Wrignt (New Zealand champion). ' NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. There will not be a match on the New Plymouth Club's links to-day. A bogey handicap will be played next Thursday, and a four-ball bogey match will take place next Saturday.
