CHESS AND DRAUGHTS.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The opening of the New Plymouth Chess and Draughts Club, which took place In the Soldiers' Club last night, proved a great success. Many local chess players were present, and a visit was received from Mr. .T. A. Glasgow, of Ngalo Club. No draughts were played. The result of the games was aslollows: .T. Bruce (2) v. ,T. A.
