RAID ON AIR FORCE. By Telejraph.— Press Assn.—Copyjieht. London, Sept. 1. Sinn Feiners raided the Irish headquarters of {he Air Force at Bahlonnel (Dublin), and captured important papers, including secret defence plans and codes. Raiders destroyed the entire buildings and equipment at Browhead coastguard station, County Cork. HUNGER-STRIKING MAYOR. POLICE SYMPATHY ALLEGED. London, Sept, 1. A Sinn Fein official bulletin states that tho reason Sir Hamar Greenwood visited tho Premier at Lueerrfe was to communicate to Mr. Lloyd George a memorial signed by 400 Irish police, threatening- to resign unless McSweeney was. released.—Aus.-N.Z.
