ACTION BY SCHOOL TEACHERS. By Telejraph.—Press Association. Wellington, August 21. A special meeting of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Educational Institute is to be called shortly on the requisition of several leading headmasters, for the -purpose of considering the advisability of urging the Dominion executive to take .such steps as are'necessary to merge the Institute into a union. It is felt that the executive should be in a position to take more drastic action than at present.
