THE SHORTAGE OP EXPLOSIVES. By Telocraph^—Press .Association. Wellington, Last Night. In the House of Representatives this afternoon, the Premier made a statement regarding the shortage of explosives which had been experienced in the Dominion for some time, thins limiting operations 111 the mines, etc. He said he had been advised that the Union S.S. Company had arranged to send ISO tons of explosives to the Dominion, which, he hoped, would relieve the existing shortage.
