MEAT, CHEESE AND BUTTER.
EXPORTS FROM TARANAKI. THIS MONTH'S SHIPMENTS. Several shipments of dairy produce and a direct shipment of meat for the London market will be made from New Plymouth this month. The export of the butter and cheese will relieve the stores of last season's produce at Moturoa, and it is expected that after this about two good-sized shipments will dear the produce in store. The Union Company's steamer Flora is due here from Onehunga about next, Wednesday, and will load 8250 crates of cheese, which will bo taken to Wellington for transhipment to the Port Hacking. Later in the month, 11,500 crates of cheese will be forwarded for the Rualiine, while this shipment will be followed by 7400 crates for the Port Denison. The only evport of butter for the month will comprise 471 boxes, and this will be taken by the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Otarama, which is expected to load at New Plymouth some time this month. The Otarama will also load here about 31,000 freight carcases, of which 20,000 are in store at the Moturoa freezing chambers, by permission of the producers' company, owing to the pressure on the Smart Road works. There will thus be only fiOOO carcases lifted from the latter stores. Other consignments by the vessel include 000 cases of tinned meat, .104 bales of wool and 200 casks of tallow. It is expected the Otarama will proceed to Waitara roadstead after New Plymouth.
