RUNNING AFTER A.MEAL ' By Teletraph.—Press AaMcnUoD. Auckland, Last Night. At an inquest into the death of the youth Alexander Ellis, who was kil'el by falling beneath a train at the New Lynn railway station, it was stated that the deceased had been running to catch a train and fell after reaching the carriage platform. The medical evidence showed that the deceased was la a somewhat soft condition, and would be likely to faint after having run several hundred yards after a meal. The coroner found that the deceased died of shock, resulting from injuries received through falling off a.train While in a fainting condition, caused by over ex or* ; on in' running to catch the train. No biame was attachable to anyone.
