HONOR FOR JOURNALISTS.
NEW ZEALANDER INCLUDED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 20, 12.5 a.m. Ottawa, July 23. The McGill University, Montreal, will confer the honorary Doctorship of Laws on four journalists, viz., Lord Burnham, Sir Harry Brittain, Mr. Ralph Stapleton Ward Jackson (Johannesburg), and Mr. T. W. Leys (Auckland). The Australasian journalists left Vancouver after touring, as the guests of the Vancouver newspaper proprietors. They are now enjoying the mountain resorts.—Aus.-N.Z. [Mr. T. W. Leys was until recently editor of the Auckland Star, retiring this year after occupying the position since 1870. Mr. Leys is one of the proprietors of the paper.!
