GOLD FOR JAPAN.
LARGE PARCEL FROM AMERICA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 26, 12.15 a.m. New York, July 23. It is expected four million dollars in gold will be seht to Tokio before the end of July. M. Akira Don, Financial Commissioner, stated that neither the Japanese Government nor the Bank of Japan hffs any connection with this gold export, which is only normal exchange between private banks. The present 'total gold reserve held by the Government and the Bank of Japan, consisting of the homo gold reserve and credits abroad, amounts to 1,921,000,000 yen.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
