DEALING WITH AUSTRALIAN EMBARGO. By Tolef/aph.—Press Association. Wellington, July 24. Replying to a Canterbury deputation, the Prime Minister promised to send another cable to the Commonwealth Prime Minister regarding the removal of the Australian embargo on the importation of New Zealand potatoes. If this did not produce satisfactory results, the Premier undertook that Cabinet will consider the advisability of sending to Australia an official of the Agriculture Department ancl a representative of the growers to make further efforts to remove the handicap.
