258 TELEGRAMS LOST.
MESSENGER GUILTY OF THEFT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, July 21. Keith Upton Pool, an ex-telegraph messenger, was convicted on a charge of theft of a brooch and failure to deliver •258 telegrams. The Magistrate sentenced him to a week's imprisonment and recommended his transfer to WeraToa Industrial Farm.
