THE WHEEL TAX.

COMMISSION THIS MONTH. At the meeting of the Stratford County Council on Saturday, there was some discussion 011 the Taranald County Council's proposed wheel-tax by-law. The Commissioner (Mr. L. B. Campbell) intimated that the Commission would probably ait in New Plymouth at the end of this month. The chairman (Cr. E. Walter) and Crs. Maekay and Coleman, were appointed the Council's representatives at the Commission.
