The Sunday Express reports that the Army Council, after considering General Dyer's lengthy written statement, decided to exonerate him, allowing him to retain his position in the army, thereby reversing the recommendation to the British Government by the Indian Government and the Indian Commander-in-Chief. —Aus.-N.Z.
