A RECORD SALE. At the Telldlng Drill Hall on Tuesday, farmers were present from all parts of the Dominion to compete for the land at Glen Oroua owned by Mr, E. R. Saunders, which was submitted at auction by Messrs, Murray, Roberts and Co. There were 20 sections ranging from 29 to 70 acres, and totalllpg 1100 acres. There was particularly keen competition for the homestead section, which was purchased by Mr. Walter Mills, of Picton, at £IBO per acre, and after strong bidding the same buyer also secured the adjoining section at £152 per acre.
