The Government's position is precarious owing to the Socialists refusing to assent to the decree of Signor Nitti (the Premier) increasing the price of bread and flour. The Socialsts are organising strong Parliamentary and public opposition to the decree, which has been- badly received. The * 'way situation is. also most serious, .j-ouble- arising out of the refusal by the railwaymen to move troops and ammunition. The newspapers accuse Signor (Nitti of weakness.—Aus.-N.Z.
