FUNERAL OF A PRINCESS.
LEAVES BURIAL INSTRUCTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —"opyright Received May 10, 8.25 p.m. Stockholm, May 10. The Crown Princess was buried on Thursday. A document written in 101-4 detailed arrangements for the funeral. She asked that she should be buried in open country, in her wedding dress, with a crucifix in her hand, while her bridal veil should cover her body until the coffin was closed. If her children were young they should be dressed in white, not black.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. NEW ZEALAND SYMPATHY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Governor-General has received the following telegrams from FieldMarshal His Royal Highness the Duke of Connaught in reply to those sent by His Excellency on May sth in connection with the death of Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess of Sweden: "Please accept yourself, and convey to ■the Dominion, my sincere thanks for their kind sympathy''—(Signed) Arthur," "Please thank the New Zealand Rifle Brigade for their kind sympathy, which I much appreciate."— (Signed) Arthur." [The Crown Princess of Sweden was the eldest daughter of the Duke of Connaught. She was bom in 1882, and married the Crown Prince of Sweden, then Duke of Skane, in 1905. There were five children of the marriage, four sons and one daughter.]
