BREAD PRICES.
TO BE FIXED NEXT MONTH. The bread price—s '/ad for the twopound loaf over the counter, (id wholesale delivered less 2J pei cent., and (i'/jd for private delivery—fixed as the result uf the meeting of t'he master bakers ivitli the Prime Minister after the .premature rise in the price of bread in March last, operated throughout the month of April. At the end of that month forms, now in the hands of the Hoard of Trade, had tt> be lilled up by the bakers giving the board information as to their business during the month; and on the information thus supplied the board has 1 to fix the price of bread. It is understood that the master bakers will meet the Board of Trade in conference next week, when a decision will be arrived at. Meanwhile the April prices hold «no<l "No information is available in regard *"-.sne nature of the returns supplied by the bakers.
