THE HALF YEAR'S RESULTS. By Telejpaph.—Press Asm.—Copyright. Received May 5, 0.25 p.m. Sydney, May 6. The report presented at the meeting of the Australian Colonial Sugar Company showed a profit of £159,553. A dividend of 6'/# per cent, per annum, and a bonus of 4s per share, were declared, leaving £21,428 to carry for- - ward. "> As regards the Fiji, and New Zealand Company, for the year ended March 81st last the earnings amounted to £297,783, from which £150,000 was deducted fpr the payment of a dividend to September 13th last, leaving £129,783 credit bal- " ance. It was decided to pay a dividend of six per cent, per annum, absorbing* £105,000, to transfer £75,000 to tfie dividend reserve fund, and to carry forward £12,753. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
