BOARD OF TRADE STEPS IN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchufch, Last Night. The CJiristchureh Dairymen's Association, which resolved last Week to increase tho wholesale price of milk to Is fld per gallon, to-day received the following telegram from the Board of Trade: "Reports in the papers indicate the wholesale dairymen have raised the price of milk to Is fld per gallon. This seems unreasonable. Please justify tht increase by evidence." To this the Association replied that it would be pleased to submit' evidence to justify the increased price, and when its representatives could meet the Board. The Board replied it would meet the Association's representatives at Wellington next Tuesday, or otherwise the Association would be asked to submit evidence in writing. The -Aseodftthn telegraphed, asking if it could take evidence m Christchuroh. No reply hag yet been received. '
